The Story Behind The Photobook Craft
As long as I can remember, I’ve always been fond of photography as a way to capture moments and preserve them for history. But as the number of personal photographs expanded over time, it became clear that individual photos stored on smartphones, laptops, or in the cloud won’t tell the story by themselves—unless some are carefully selected, edited, and sequenced to create a narrative. This is what the photobook is about: telling a story through photographs.
What began as a personal project to create photobooks for myself and my friends grew into something more, leading me to launch my website dedicated to photobook design.
My Evolution into Graphic & Web Design
Photobook design is more than just working with photos. It encompasses a deep understanding of composition, typography, colour, and printing. I hold certifications in Graphic Design from the University of Colorado and the California Institute of the Arts alongside with 20+ additional certificates in graphic and web design.
